What’s up, good people?

This is your host, Neil Real, and this is the Apostate Apple broadcast.

Once again, back talking about how the Bible attacks your selfesteem, your selfconfidence, your love for yourself and alters your brain in different ways.

And so that’s what we’re going to deal with today.

Before we do that, let’s get right into it.

All right?

Second Timothy, chapter three, verses four says lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.

And it’s a list of all this negative stuff that people are so called doing, and one of those is to be a lover of pleasure rather than a lover of God.

And so what this says is if you love pleasure too much, if you love pleasure at all, you don’t love God or God doesn’t want you to have pleasure.

And this is a real thing.

No, that’s not what it says.

Neil is essentially saying that what’s wrong with loving pleasure.

Let’s say you’re a Christian, right?

You can still have a lot of pleasure in life and still greet your Bible and go to church, but they’re pretty much saying that you’re a lover of pleasure.

Okay, that’s f***** up.

But there’s a lot of people who feel guilty if they’re having too much fun.

They feel guilty.

Like I said, I talked about the bedroom, I talked about people having sex and they get too much pleasure in that.

Oh, my God.

I think I’m in seeing now too much pleasure.

Too much pleasure.

I felt the same way.

I limit my pleasure.

I thought I had to just be so focused on the scriptures, like I’d be reading scriptures every day and I’m just this Bible believing reading, meditating on the Word.

But external pleasure, like sex or watching movies or some activity or games or whatever that stuff, I would shun it a little bit.

I can’t get too much into this.

I can’t just be having fun every day because deep down I was programmed unconsciously to believe that pleasure, too much of it was wrong.

And so here’s the scripture to show you here.

God has a problem with your pleasure.

He’d rather you be loving him rather than having pleasure in yourself.

All right, here’s another one.

Luke, chapter nine, verses three.

It tells you to deny yourself.

Pick up your cross and follow God.

Deny what?

The things that you want to do in life.

If following Jesus is hard, if you’re getting persecuted and you don’t want to go through that, deny how you feel about that.

All right, take up hardship is basically what God is saying.

Pick up that cross.

You can read that scripture in context to see that, but that’s what it’s essentially saying.

Take up your cross.

What is the cross?

Well, in the Roman crucifixions, they would get the a** kicked first.

If you’ve seen The Passion of the Christ, that’s pretty much accurate.

When it comes to how Roman crucifixion would work, they whoop your a** for a while.

After that, they get the cross.

You got to carry the m*********** up a heel.

Then they lay you out on the f****** cross, put nails in your hands and then your feet and have you die out like that.

You can actually look up how painful the crucifixion was.

It’s very torturous because your body is hanging off of your own weight and it’s just these nails and you can’t really catch your breath that well, it’s all f***** up.

It’s a very torturous.

The Romans were f****** barbaric.

I mean, God d***.

But anyway, supposedly Jesus went through this.

We know he didn’t exist.

But nevertheless, it’s in scripture and it’s telling you to take up such pain.

Now, where would this pain come from?

It could be from the duties in church.

It could be from being a Christian and holding on to beliefs that most people don’t accept.

And so you got to accept that and deal with that.

And it’s painful, but deny yourself.

I know you want to stop.

I know you don’t want to be a Christian almost.

It’s what this religion is saying.

I know you want to leave this because you can’t do this, you can’t do that, but take it up anyway.

Deal with it.

Another scripture.

Here one Corinthians, chapter ten, verses 24.

No one should seek their own good but the good of others.

All right, selflessness.

Now, I’m a selfless person.

I’ve done stuff for people just out of the kindness of my heart.

And there’s nothing wrong with that.

But when that’s an emphasis and that’s your life, we’re going to keep reading how that’s putting people first before yourself is not healthy.

When you’re on a plane, and this is analogy often used, you’re on a plane and it’s having turbulence and those little oxygen masks fall from the ceiling.

They tell you to put yours on first before you can help somebody put theirs on.

You see, and we should all be, I would say, selfish.

I’m not about self centeredness.

I don’t teach that.

But we all need to make sure self is first before we help or engage in what somebody else may need.

If you’re not doing well, you can’t help nobody else in the best way you can.

And a lot of people, if they’re religious or not, if they have this idea of this selflessness where I got to give myself to everybody else, put everybody else before me, you’ll end up burning out like that because you ain’t take care of you first.

But see, the Scriptures, they tell you they put others first, and I was that same person.

See, all this I’m telling you is from experience, there is no good outcome for this.

You get taken advantage of.

You’ll find that you’ve given, but you ain’t got nothing left for yourself.

And then people start to look at you like, man, you ain’t nothing but some push over and they look at you like, why you ain’t taking care of yourself first?

Like, why?

What a scripture said, the Bible says I got to put others first.

And I’m showing you the passages.

See, I was a real Bible believer.

I really followed this book.

I really studied it.

That’s why I hate when people come and be told me, I was never a Christian.

F*** you.

I was following this s***, okay?

And it destroyed my life.

And once again, it’s designed to do that.

It’s designed to do that.

Here’s another passage, acts, chapter 20, verses 35.

It says it’s more blessed to give than receive.

Look at that.

So I became a person that was given a lot, and I had joy for that, given money, time, treasures, et cetera, but rarely demanding anything back in return.

Once again, I wouldn’t take care of myself.

I wouldn’t put myself first.

Anytime you are giving things, you should be making sure that you’re getting back.

If it’s not from that person, somebody else, all right?

You need to make sure your stuff is taken care of.

But I was always given and not getting back.

And I started to feel like it was selfish of me to demand something back, and that led to me suffering from lack.

So I’m helping people, and then I’m saying, hey, you know what?

I need this.

I need that.

I would help you, but I really need this.

Can you help me with that?

And then I can help you with this.

That’s how I should have been.

But I’m on this s*** where I got to pull people first, and it’s better to give than receive.

So here, I’m going to just give, give, give, give.

And don’t worry about receiving.

Somehow God will take care of that when he didn’t.

There’s a Bible passage in Matthew, chapter six, verses 33.

It says, if you seek ye first the kingdom, everything else will be added unto you.

And I really believe that.

And you know what came out of that?

Nothing.

My needs weren’t provided for.

They didn’t miraculously hear things that I needed, okay?

Yet I’m giving.

Giving.

But yet the universe or God at the time was not providing.

That the reason why is because you got to ask.

You got to go for, and you got to get yours first.

Take care of yourself.

I’ve given to people on the street who didn’t seem like they had food to eat, and I’ve done that many times.

I didn’t do it to get nothing back.

I did it because I had empathy.

And I said, I don’t want to see them like that.

And that’s okay for people to do.

I’m not saying you should not be a person that gives, but don’t be a person that says it’s more blessed to give than receive.

It’s a blessing to receive.

It’s a blessing to receive.

It’s a blessing to get some money.

It’s a blessing to get a good b******.

It’s a blessing to get tickets to some concert that you wanted to get from a friend of yours.

It’s a blessing when people bless you.

Receive that and be happy about it.

Man, f*** these scriptures, man.

Some of this s*** is just goofy as h***.

Giving and receiving are equal.

You should want to receive and you should want to give.

My goodness.

So once again, this is attacking your self love because you don’t love yourself.

When you just give and giving to people, putting people first and not taking care of yourself, that’s teaching you to not love yourself.

All right, here’s another passage that teaches you not to love yourself.

Matthew, chapter five, verses eleven and twelve.

So Matthew, chapter five, verse eleven and twelve.

Now remember, I just talked about being blessed.

It’s blessed to get them received.

Here they go talking about blessed are you when people insult you.

You’re blessed when people insult you.

Now, like I said, these scriptures are set up because they want you to stay in a religion.

And they know you’re going to feel bad when people start tripping because your religion is pretty much anti human.

Blessed are you when people insult you.

You out there on the corner preaching the gospel and people don’t want to hear that s***.

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.

All right, so you’re a Christian.

And because of your Christian stance and believes people are talking s*** about you and mistreating you, he says you’re blessed because of that.

All right, here’s a guy that don’t even exist.

It’s really a religion that’s stupid and people are upset about it.

Verse twelve.

Rejoice and be glad because great is your reward in heaven.

For in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you, so they did the same to the so called prophets that never existed in the Bible and they’re doing it to you.

So you got this crazy religion that you’re spewing it to people.

People are in exchange insulting you and persecuting you.

Why?

Because they don’t want that s*** around them.

There’s a lot of people in the world that say, f*** this Christian s***, I don’t want a part of it, okay?

It’s unhealthy.

I don’t want you around me.

And what does a Christian do?

They double down on their beliefs.

They go out because the Bible told them to, and they say, we’re going to preach this gospel anyway.

And so what happens to them is they get insulted, they get persecuted and all type of s***.

And it says, blessed are you because you got a great reward in heaven.

Bullshit.

You ain’t got no great reward.

You just taking hits.

You’re taking ailes from people.

Stop doing the work, stop preaching the gospel.

There’s no Jesus behind all of this s***.

You got to substantiate that and you can’t.

You live in by faith, and we’re going to talk about that too.

But ah, s***, my my mind.

And once again, your self esteem is all f***** up.

Now you may say, well, I know I’m getting a reward in heaven for this.

You may feel good about yourself, but nevertheless, this is working on your psyche because you’re taking LS from people and you’re programming your self conscious, your subconscious rather to accept abuse from people.

All right, stop doing things that will cause that to happen.

Now, I’m not against anybody standing up for what they believe is true and taking Ails for that, taking hits for that.

But in this case, you can’t keep doing that, especially when the God don’t exist behind it.

Let’s say you, you believe that your self esteem is, is being hit.

It’s being hit.

Your self respect, your love for yourself, you’re just taking these hits.

Another passage, and I’m not going to read all these, but matthew, chapter 25, verses 14 through 30.

Luke, chapter twelve, verses 34.

Matthew, chapter six, verses 19 and two.

Corinthians, chapter nine, verses six through eight.

All of these talk about sacrificing your time, talent and treasures for the Lord.

So you give to the Lord as far as money is concerned.

You give them to certain ministries.

You showing up the church on time, maybe clean the church toilet, vacuuming the carpet.

You helping out in the church for free.

Sacrifice is to give up something for something of greater value.

Ain’t no value in dying for Jesus.

Ain’t no value in giving to the church because it’s not substantiated.

I want everybody listening to this s*** who is a Christian, because some of you are sneaking and listening.

You got to substantiate your Christ.

You got to find out if this guy is actually real.

If not, you’re just giving to somebody and they’re just taken from you.

That’s it all your time and talent and treasure.

It’s not a sacrifice.

I was the man that was doing this s***.

I was a believer for over 30 years and didn’t get nothing in return.

The whole time I thought perhaps in heaven I was I would see a return.

But when I discovered none of this was true, d***.

Here’s another passage.

This one takes a shot at yourself.

Love.

Luke, chapter six, verses 27 through 29.

It says, but to those of you who will listen, I say love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also.

And if someone takes your cloak or jacks you for your clothing, do not withhold your tunic or your other piece of clothing as well.

Okay?

And it keeps going on with this weak a** bullshit that you got to do.

This is what this does to people.

When you allow your enemy to get over on you consistently all they’re going to do is say you’re a weak, they’re going to continue to bully you.

Okay?

This is why this scripture is f***** up, especially with the turning of the cheek.

I’ve reinterpreted that in different ways in my past when I was a Christian, to mean something different.

But it says to love your enemies.

Do good to those who hate you less, those who curse you.

Okay?

Now there’s some principles to this, and I’m not going to knock all these verses here, but my main issue here is the constantly getting hit by your enemies and not doing nothing about it.

Okay?

That’s a problem.

That’s a f****** problem.

And you should not be tolerating this bullshit.

Don’t tolerate bullies.

Stand up to bullies, okay?

Don’t let them use scriptures like this against you either.

Hey, you can’t hit me back.

You supposed to bless me.

I’ve been disrespecting you, encouraging you.

You need to bless me like, f*** you.

This is just my interpretation of this s***.

But I can just see how you don’t love yourself when you keep putting up with this and you’re doing it out of religious beliefs.

You’re thinking that, well, God is somehow going to take care of him.

Bullshit.

Because he don’t exist.

You God and you need to take care of him.

As I discovered.

Like I said, one of the things I was angry.

I was like, there’s no judgment for all the wicked things that have happened to me.

You have to respond to people and say, look, you ain’t going to f****** me no more.

And you have to put things up and take care of that.

You can’t wait on God to fix that.

I don’t think you should love your enemies.

I don’t think you should hate them either.

Don’t put a lot of emotional energy into them.

I think Colyone said that in Godfather three.

Don’t never hate your enemy.

Never hate your enemy.

I don’t hate my enemies either.

I become indifferent.

I don’t put no energy towards them and I recognize what they are and what they are about and move accordingly.

You don’t need to put a lot of energy so it’s some truth to this s***.

But turn the other cheek can be very misinterpreted to mean literally somebody hits you, you turn the other one and say, we hit me on this one.

And if somebody robs you, it says if someone takes your cloak, which is a coat, do not withhold your tunic.

So you take off your shirt and you get up to them.

No, man, they just going to come back every time they see you and rob your a** again.

They’re not going to have a change of heart and say, oh my God, this person is just letting me do these things to them.

I feel so convicted.

I must change and follow the Lord now.

Oh my they’re love for me despite my behavior.

I just know, man, they’re going to say, you a stupid m***********.

I’m going to keep robbing your a**.

And don’t get mad at me, Christians, for this, because this is what the book says, and anybody can interpret it any kind of way.

It’s just not clear, you see?

And if the book was printed for the Mass, why is it not written in a way for everybody to understand?

Don’t get mad at me and say, well, that ain’t really what he’s saying.

That’s what the texts say.

All right, ephesians, chapter six, verses five.

It says, Obey your masses as with Christ.

That’s f***** up right there.

Now, in this interpretation, it could mean employers.

It could mean you a servant, you live in a house, and you take care of people.

You are made of some kind, but to obey them as if they’re Christ, this is what the book says.

Okay, here’s another one.

One.

Peter, chapter two, verses 18.

It says, Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the unjust.

So all the slaves, the people that were stolen from Africa and brought over to the Americas to build the land, they just should, you know, you just got to be nice of your master, respect your master.

You know, even the ones that beat the s*** out of you, even the ones that are unjust, just keep on taking it.

Keep on taking the abuse.

Don’t fight back.

Don’t fight back.

Just let them whoop your a**.

Keep on taking it, because God is going to take care of them somehow, some way.

Once again, God don’t exist.

He doesn’t exist.

And so you’re doing all these things.

And I’ve taken a lot of abuse from people, particularly people in the church for the most part, but also people outside racism, things of that nature.

I would say God’s going to get them.

God ain’t going to get them.

Ain’t nothing going to happen to that racist.

Nothing.

You got to check that racist.

You got to find a way to manage these people.

You cannot be relying on God or somebody out yourself to fix that s***.

Abuse the people in your family, people in your church.

Ain’t nobody going to do nothing.

God ain’t coming to save you.

You have to do your research, and you’ll discover that you don’t exist.

There’s no evidence of his existence or anything.

And look, where is the justice?

You keep seeing these stories of black folks getting killed or just your own life.

Some parent or some family member might have did something to you or something happened on your job.

Where’s the justice?

Act?

There ain’t no justice.

You got to get it.

You got to stand up.

But all of this kind of weakens you, and it destroys yourself, love.

You’re telling yourself, I’m supposed to accept abuse.

I don’t care if you use a scripture or anything.

You’re telling your subconscious you’re affirming your subconscious, I’m going to accept abuse?

I’m supposed to accept this?

This is not healthy for y’all people.

This is not healthy.

All right, that’s all I got for right now.

Stay tuned till next time.
