up, good people?\n\nThis is Neil Real, your host, and this is the Apostate Apple broadcast.\n\nThis is the first episode, and in this episode I'm just going to talk about what this entire broadcast will be about.\n\nAnd I'm gonna talk about who I am, why, how am I doing this, what to expect, and the value you can get from subscribing to the broadcast.\n\nSo in a nutshell, this broadcast is all about exposing religion and the negative side of religion, particularly Christianity.\n\nAnd then we're going to talk about some forbidden things that religion didn't want you to know.\n\nSo that's essentially what this is about.\n\nBut before we get into those things, so let me get it right into it.\n\nWho am I?\n\nMy name is Neil.\n\nNeil Chester is my government name.\n\nI go by Neil Real.\n\nAnd I was born in detroit, Michigan, USA.\n\nI was born in the 80s, so you can figure out my age from the early 80s.\n\nI'm a so-called foundational Black American.\n\nI've been a web professional for over 20 years.\n\nI'm also an illustrator, graphic designer, and a visual artist.\n\nI was indoctrinated by religion from the age of five.\n\nAnd I was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses, which is also called the Watchtower Bible and Track Society, which is a Christian sect.\n\nAnd I was in that for eleven years.\n\nWhile I was in there, I served as an evangelist for six years.\n\nThey call them publishers, but they're basically people who are authorized and knock on your door on Saturdays and try to give you a track or a magazine or something.\n\nI was also a Baptist Christian for four years.\n\nI was also a Pentecostal Christian for one year.\n\nAnd then I was also involved with the Evangelical Covenant Church for two years.\n\nI was also a Bible teacher for over ten years.\n\nSo I taught in homes, but I also had a ministry online.\n\nI had a website with sermons and a YouTube channel.\n\nIn total, I was a practicing member of Christianity for over 30 years.\n\nSo why am I doing this?\n\nWhy am I making these broadcasts?\n\nWhy am I starting this podcast?\n\nWell, this is going to be my story of how religion polluted my life, my spirit and my mind, and how I'm trying to fix it.\n\nI'm going to be exposing the mental bondage of religion and all the errors within it.\n\nI'm going to have a saying that you'll hear me say often, and that is there is nothing good in religion.\n\nAnything that is good was copied from humanity, and I truly believe that.\n\nSo I'm trying to save lives, trying to save people who are involved in it currently and suffering, and they don't understand why this podcast might be able to help you.\n\nSo why is it named Apostate Apple?\n\nWell, first of all, I'm an apostate, so an apostate isn't a person that has abandoned their personal faith.\n\nIn this case, I've abandoned Christianity and religion as a whole.\n\nAnd I want to be clear, I'm not an atheist.\n\nSo an atheist is a person that says they don't believe in God.\n\nI think an agnostic says they can't know if there's a God, but I respect both communities.\n\nI do follow the atheists on Instagram, and they have these memes they post about Christians and certain things that Christians believe.\n\nI think those are interesting and funny, but I'm not an atheist.\n\nThe apple part of the broadcast name represents the forbidden fruit in the Bible story.\n\nSo you all know about Adam and Eve, and they couldn't eat from this fruit, and if they did, they would die.\n\nAnd many people see that fruit as a representation of hidden knowledge or occult knowledge.\n\nAnd so this podcast is about leaving religion, abandoning religion, and then looking into all cult knowledge or things that was forbidden from you by Christianity.\n\nSo examples of these might be spirituality, the all called witchcraft, et cetera.\n\nOkay, now, I want to be clear that I'm not here to lead anybody into any type of belief system.\n\nI'm not trying to teach people to be spiritual.\n\nI'm not trying to tell people what religion they should follow, but we just going to touch on things that they hid from us, that's all.\n\nIf you're a Christian and you're listening, or if you're not a Christian, a lot of what you don't know was hidden by the church.\n\nSo I'm going to have to expose it here.\n\nSo how is religion harmful?\n\nFirst of all, before I go in, I do want to say this, that all religions are not harmful, and some spiritual systems are called religions.\n\nAnd so I don't want to knock all religions because all of them are not harmful.\n\nSome of them are simply spiritual systems and they help people.\n\nAnd that's it.\n\nThat's all they do.\n\nI'm specifically talking about any type of system or set of beliefs that causes you to suffer, that prohibits you from being your best self, destroys your knowledge yourself, and weakens you as a human being and puts you in a loop of suffering and pain and misery, which is what I went through.\n\nSo anything that does that I would say is harmful, and I don't support it.\n\nSo here's how religion harmed me, and I've seen it harm other people.\n\nIt programs you to think and behave in ways against your best interests.\n\nSo it alters your knowledge itself.\n\nIt may tell you you're not worth anything.\n\nThe scriptures say that we were born in the sin.\n\nWe're all sinners, basically flawed people.\n\nIt can lower your self respect, lower your self esteem, and even belief in yourself, because they keep telling you to believe in God instead of yourself.\n\nYou got to put your faith in God and not yourself.\n\nAnd these have a bunch of consequences when you do that.\n\nSo what it did for me, along with things I just mentioned was I put God and ministry above myself and my needs.\n\nThere are times when I was spending time helping somebody or working on a project for the foot of Lord, quote unquote, and my needs weren't being met.\n\nIt made me a follower instead of a leader.\n\nSo that's not good.\n\nAs a man, you got to be a leader, not a follower.\n\nBut religion tends to try to put you in that position.\n\nOne of the biggest issues it caused for me was isolation and disconnection from other people.\n\nSo my first Christian sect was that Jehovah's Witnesses I was born into, that they would isolate you if you did some kind of seeing or whatever, so they call it, this fellowship.\n\nSo they would cut you off from your family members.\n\nThey couldn't speak to you for a short period of time or designated time until the elders of the church or the congregation would allow it.\n\nYour own parents could isolate you within the home and punish you and put you on punishment by disconnecting you from the rest of the family and your friends and anybody else you want to hang out with because you didn't want to do certain things within the religion.\n\nIn those times you lose your social skills.\n\nIn some cases, you get used to isolation, but you hate it at the same time because you want human connection, but you don't know how to get it because you don't have the skills to actually connect with people.\n\nA lot of problems came out of the isolation and the disconnection.\n\nAnd of course the religion says that we're no part of the world.\n\nDid Jehovah's Witnesses teach that?\n\nAnd they always quote that, and they say that my mother said it often, we are no part of the world.\n\nSo only time you would talk to somebody that was not a Jehovah's Witnesses, a person that was not a part of that cult religion, was to evangelize to them, anybody else, you say hi and bye, but you don't get into deep conversation with them.\n\nYou don't make friends with people who are not Jehovah's Witness because they are of the world and we are no part of the world.\n\nSo that was the thing.\n\nAnd I kind of took that same thinking into other Christian religions that I jumped into, so Baptists and things like that.\n\nI can only connect with people within its religion.\n\nAnd so when I left, I still had that program running.\n\nSo now I don't connect with people within the religion, and I don't connect with people outside of the religion.\n\nSo this program running where it's hard for you to connect with anybody now because you're outside of the religion.\n\nAnd you fill this program to not even talk to people who are just regular people walking around like you.\n\nNeed human connection.\n\nBut there's this program that keeps you from doing it is difficult to really explain, but I think people can understand what I'm saying.\n\nSo that's something I had to fight and I'm fighting at now.\n\nLearning to have open conversations, to generate conversations with people that I can build a connection and perhaps a friendship, because we all need friends, we all need healthy human connections.\n\nIt also cut me off from positive interactions with women.\n\nAnd the reason why is because they always was trying to monitor young people from having sex.\n\nI remember getting a number from a girl in my church and he found out and told me to tear it up and not to call her.\n\nAnd I found out later on he did it because he didn't want me to have sex with this particular girl.\n\nBut what it did was it prevented me from learning basic interactions with the opposite sex, particularly girls who had a mutual affection.\n\nIt was okay for us, my brother and myself, to interact with girls that didn't have any type of liking towards us, friends, basically.\n\nBut when it came to a girl that had some level of desire beyond just friendship, that was chopped off.\n\nSo I don't know how he was watching me or monitoring me, but he found out some kind of way and that screwed it up.\n\nBecause you need to have positive interactions with the opposite sex when you're young so that you can build those skills when you get older.\n\nAnd so a lot of negativity came out of those relationships, like that being prohibited and cut off.\n\nI wasn't even thinking about sex at that time.\n\nBut here comes this religion trying to block it.\n\nAnd so sexual repression is a big deal within Christianity.\n\nPeople find that they can't even have sex properly or enjoy it because of all the teachings that they had stuff down their throat.\n\nLust or desire for the opposite sex is frowned upon.\n\nMasturbation is frowned upon.\n\nYou can't even do that.\n\nThat's the sin.\n\nCertain sexual acts within the bedroom are considered sin.\n\nSo they really got sex locked down, messed up, jammed up for anybody that's within these religions.\n\nAnd there's a lot of people suffering because of that.\n\nAnother thing that religion does to harm you is it disconnects you from your emotions and your intuition.\n\nSo you may feel like something ain't right, but you can't act on it, because religion is saying to put that aside, don't think on it, don't think that way.\n\nOr if you feel some type of way, they will invalidate your emotions and tell you not to feel that way.\n\nAnd so these are all mechanisms that protect you.\n\nAnd so now they're programming you to remove the basic protections you have for your spirit, for your mind.\n\nThey're getting you to remove those.\n\nAnd so that may happen through Bible scripture where a pastor is teaching something.\n\nIt may be people within the church who are abusing their power or their position and trying to get you to do things.\n\nAnd they'll use a passage to say you got to do this or do that.\n\nAnd then when you retort with, hey, this ain't right, I don't feel right about this, they'll try to manipulate you into or gaslight you into doing whatever they want you to do or whatever.\n\nSo it's a mess.\n\nIt's very harmful when it comes to your own self-defenses against bullshit and harm within the religious organization.\n\nAnother thing that it does is it emasculates you.\n\nParticularly, Christianity seeks to emasculate men.\n\nThere's tons of passages that they get men to go against their basic energy, which is masculinity within their spirits.\n\nAnd so I realized that religion was instrumental in lowering my masculinity aside from what was happening in the world.\n\nMedia does it, schools do it.\n\nNow it's everywhere.\n\nIt's these programs trying to get men to be less of a man.\n\nSo it goes against your will to fight, which is connected to masculinity.\n\nIt led to two of the biggest regrets of my life.\n\nThe first one was destroying all my artwork.\n\nAnd I did this because of religious beliefs.\n\nI thought that these things represented my past and they were not of God, so therefore, why should I keep them around?\n\nBut I believe everybody should keep a record of who they used to be.\n\nAnd I discovered later on that none of this stuff was wrong.\n\nBut here I've destroyed ten years of artwork, illustrations, things that represented me that was expressions of who I was, a record of my talents and gifts and abilities.\n\nAll these characters, all these artwork, all of this stuff, that was me.\n\nI destroyed it because of beliefs from religion.\n\nSo that was a big regret of mine.\n\nThe second regret was getting married to the wrong person.\n\nReligion will cloud your judgment, and it will also lead you to do things that's just not in your best interest.\n\nAs I said before.\n\nAnd getting married at the time that I did, to the person that I did, was the worst decision I ever made.\n\nAnd even when I had these pushes in my spirit to not do it, it was about two and a half times when I really had the option not to even get married, to just get out of that situation.\n\nThe religion just came back in and just pushed me back into it to where I ended up getting married in seven years of, I guess, misery, I would say seven years of emptiness, all because of religious beliefs within religion.\n\nIt allows for a lot of parasitic or narcissistic personality types to thrive.\n\nOkay?\n\nSo because of that, and I didn't know anything about these type of people, I was taken advantage of by those people.\n\nAnd anybody knows anything about narcissistic abuse, you know, that is a really tough thing to deal with.\n\nAnd it lasts for years and years and years, and you have to work through all the knots and twists and cuts that they did to your spirit.\n\nAnd so I'm recovering from that as well.\n\nAnd I would say even religion in itself is narcissistic.\n\nParticularly Christianity is one big narcissist.\n\nAnd then finally, bitterness, resentment, once you discover it was all a lie.\n\nAnd that's what I did.\n\nI discovered that, and I was just devastated.\n\nLike, d***, Jesus never existed.\n\nThere's no proof of him.\n\nThe Bible was plagiarized.\n\nSo basically, a lot of these stories are copies from other stories that were way older than the Bible.\n\nThe Bible was never meant to be literal, but allegorical and they decided to just teach the people as if it was literal to control them.\n\nThis is all a bunch of bullshit.\n\nNow, I respect the Bible because there's good things in it.\n\nIt's a good piece of literature, but there's a lot of stuff in there you shouldn't even follow or do the treatment of women.\n\nNot helpful for your soul.\n\nNot helpful for your soul at all.\n\nSo that is what religion did to me, and I've seen this done to tons of other people.\n\nI was a part of some groups called the Recovering from Religion, and you could hear their stories, their countless stories of they might have been a Mormon, they might have been in Jehovah's Witness.\n\nThey might have been a part of some other denomination within Christianity or some other sect.\n\nJust damage, damage, damage, damage, damage.\n\nOnce again, there is nothing good in religion.\n\nAnything you think is good in religion was borrowed from humanity, okay?\n\nAnd my goal with this podcast is to expose all this s***.\n\nI'm going to go in on religion because I don't want anybody to fall for these traps anymore.\n\nI want people to have an open mind and a thinking mind, a critical thinking mind.\n\nAnd that's why I'm doing this.\n\nNow.\n\nI don't want you to feel sorry for me and just empathize and understand the dangers of religion.\n\nThis is a trap.\n\nThis is something that's designed to hinder you, destroy you, cause you misery, and to prevent you from being your best self, in my opinion.\n\nSo here's the deal.\n\nWhat can you expect from this broadcast?\n\nWell, expect stories, expect psychology to be used within these broadcasts.\n\nSo I'm going to be quoting psychologists and psychology research to show you that the damaging effects of religion on the mind, okay?\n\nRespect church history, heavy criticism of religion, particularly Christianity, of course, and the Bible.\n\nAnd once again, I'm not pushing you to a certain path.\n\nI want to show you what's out there, what are the alternatives.\n\nAnd I'll be dealing specifically with the Abrahamic religions.\n\nThat includes Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.\n\nI have no understanding of Hinduism and Buddhism and anything else out there, and I don't even think those things are even actual religions.\n\nThey may be spiritual systems or whatever, but nevertheless, we're going to stay within the Abrahamic religions and discuss the damages and the belief systems within there.\n\nHere's what you can get out of this podcast.\n\nHere's the value.\n\nIf you are a believer, you'll get a perspective on why people leave God.\n\nMost of you are already told why somebody like myself left God.\n\nYou'll say that he was never of us and he went out from us, but he was never of us.\n\nNo, I really believed.\n\nI really believed to the T I was a better Christian than you.\n\nYou're going to get my side of the store.\n\nYou're going to get the real reason why people leave.\n\nSo you're going to get alternative answers to questions you may have about religion, life in the Bible, instead of the cookie cutter answer your pastor is going to give you, or whatever you're going to find on the website that you did a Google search for.\n\nSo if you're doubting your faith or have left your faith, you'll get a sense of support, sympathy and connection, because I'm in the same boat you were in.\n\nIf you've never been religious, you'll learn all about Christianity and its dark side.\n\nYou'll get answers to questions you may have about church behavior from somebody who's probably on the outside looking in, like hypocrisy, for one.\n\nWhy are Christians hypocrites?\n\nI'm going to talk about that and it's not what you think.\n\nWhy they so against sexuality.\n\nThey hate masturbation.\n\nThey don't want you thinking about sex.\n\nThey try to tell you what you can and can't do in the bedroom.\n\nThey hate homosexuals.\n\nThey hate lesbians.\n\nWhat's up with that?\n\nWe're going to talk about that.\n\nAnd then finally you're going to get forbidden knowledge.\n\nStuff I didn't want you to know.\n\nKundalini, chakras witchcraft, wicca the depths of things that they don't want you going into.\n\nWe're going to dig into it.\n\nWe're going to go all into the darkness and bring out things that they said you couldn't look at.\n\nTerror cars and astrology.\n\nWe going to touch on these things because important to understand and know what's out there.\n\nOnce again, I'm not trying to tell you to join up or practice any of these things, but just to know what's out there.\n\nHave a well rounded view of the world instead of just this one narrow view of what religion is telling you.\n\nOkay?\n\nFinally, I want you to notice that Christianity in particular was forced on people.\n\nThey may tell you the story of the Bible where it was just Jesus who came out of the Israelites and he preached love and he healed people.\n\nAnd no, first of all, there's no record of him doing any of that or even existing.\n\nSomebody decided, okay, we have to get this religion pushed on people, so how do we do it?\n\nThey came to people's countries, and he had a sword out and said, look, you're going to love Jesus today with a sword to their neck and say, if you don't like it, you're going to get killed.\n\nSome people got burned at the stake.\n\nThat's how Christianity got spread.\n\nIt wasn't Jesus and his disciples and the apostles, okay?\n\nNone of that stuff happened.\n\nThat's what the Bible says, which is a fictitious book.\n\nAnother thing I discovered was that the Bible was meant to be allegorical and not to be taken literally.\n\nOkay?\n\nSo there was no two nude people in the garden talking to a snake.\n\nThat didn't happen, okay?\n\nThe Bible was plagiarized.\n\nThis is something else I discovered.\n\nSo the Mother Mary, virgin birth, Noah's ark in the flood, these things come from other stories that was older than the Bible itself.\n\nThey just kind of remixed it and put it in the Bible.\n\nThen once again, there was no proof of Jesus, Jesus, Moses, Paul, or any other Bible characters actually existing.\n\nSo until next time, be blessed, rate, like share, subscribe, all that good stuff.\n\nThank you for listening to the end and continue to the next one.","youtube":"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=0jy4xnXCZZA"},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/nealreal.com\/aa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/560","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/nealreal.com\/aa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/nealreal.com\/aa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nealreal.com\/aa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nealreal.com\/aa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=560"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/nealreal.com\/aa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/560\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/nealreal.com\/aa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=560"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nealreal.com\/aa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=560"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nealreal.com\/aa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=560"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
